TP Eagles Group Advisors - Mr Tan Gim Hong (a Volunteer Adult Leader) and Mr Desmond Foo (right), who is currently holding the appointment of Area Resource Commissioner, both were part of the founding members of the TP Eagles Scout Group.

Established in 1975, Toa Payoh Eagles Scout Group (Open) had been actively involved in charting out high quality Cub Scout activities and developing leadership programmes for youths who wish to work with younger Scouts. TP Eagles' forte in Scouting lied on its traditional leadership roles that had eventually fathered the births of several groups under the TP Eagles Family. The School-based groups namely, Pei Chun Public School Eagle Scout Group (since 1975), First Toa Payoh Primary School Eagle Cub Scout Group (since 2002) and Bendemeer Primary School Eagle Cub Scout Group (since Jan 2008) had a combined membership of 120 Cubs, 20 Scouts, 15 Volnteer Adult/and Parent Leaders. The Group is currently based at First Toa Payoh Primary School. The Group is currently led by 7th GSL Ong Shun Hua.
